Carolina Mejia - State Senate - LD 35
Since 2021, Carolina has had the honor of serving as your Thurston County Commissioner and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Health. In these roles, she have worked closely with families, workers, small businesses, service providers, and community members across our region. She has also seen where too many people are being left behind, especially those in underserved communities who are working hard but still struggling to afford housing, access services, and stay healthy.
Right now, families across our region are making impossible choices between groceries and rent, between a doctor’s visit and putting gas in the car. This isn’t just a policy failure; it’s a failure of leadership. While our current Senator views our community through the lens of a venture capitalist, Carolina sees it through the eyes of a neighbor and a parent. Her priorities are clear: lowering costs for working families, expanding access to affordable housing, improving access to public services, and strengthening community health. -

Beth Doglio - State Representative - LD 22 - Pos. 1
As your representative for the 22nd Legislative District in Washington State, Rep. Doglio is deeply honored to run for re-election.
This past biennium, she joined the House Appropriations Committee and State Government and Tribal Affairs Committee, while continuing to serve as Chair of the House Environment & Energy Committee. In these roles, Rep. Doglio worked to ensure we meet our climate goals, reduce toxic chemicals, strengthen recycling and waste systems, and protect voting rights by advancing legislation that keeps our elections fair, accessible, and trustworthy.
Rep. Doglio has also worked to ensure we didn’t balance our state budget on the backs of public employees—those who care for our most vulnerable, build our infrastructure, educate our children, and keep our communities safe. -

Lisa Parshley - State Representative - LD 22 - Pos. 2
Lisa took the long way to public office. Before she was elected to anything, she trained first as a research scientist, earning a doctorate in biochemistry from Oregon Health Sciences University, doing post-doctoral work at the University of Washington, and spending two years in biotech research. Then she went back to school to become a veterinarian and, through her residency at Michigan State, a board-certified veterinary oncologist. What she learned across those careers was not just about science but the practice of being a healer: how to listen carefully, explain difficult things in plain language, and sit with people through hard moments.
In the State House, she represents the 22nd Legislative District as Vice Chair of the House Capital Budget Committee. Her other assignments include Health Care and Wellness, time on the finance committee, Local Government, and the Universal Health Care Commission. She also serves on several interstate committees via the Council of State Governments, Energy and the Grid, and the Legislative Council on River Governance. -
